The induction stove cover is designed to fit right over the glass top of the stove. It has an inset portion on the underside that is just larger than the dimension so of the stove so it rests on the counter top and protects the glass surface.

Use mineral oil or some other cutting board oil (Howard's Cutting Board Oil is great!) to refresh the look of your cutting board every 6-12 months.
Like all woods, this cutting board may experience some swelling and contraction depending on the climate where you take it. This is normal. Clauson Custom Hardwoods is not responsible for damage due to swelling or contraction.
